Faction: Sansha Nation
Mission type: Encounter
Space type: Normal space
Damage dealt: EM/Therm
Web/scramble: Elite Frigates
Extras: Heavy tracking disruption (Elite Cruisers)
Recommended damage dealing: EM (best), Therm (secondary)

Note: The number of ships in a reinforcement wave will vary randomly. This variance will be indicated in the ship numbers.

Single Pocket

Auto-aggro from Initial Group at warp-in. No aggro on drones.

Reinforcemement waves are triggered by killing the highest bounty battleship.
Exceptions to this are :

Spawn locations for the reinforcement waves are Front, Back, Left and Bottom with respect to the (Minmatar) Merchant Gate in the center.
(if you look at the Minmatar gate, the gate's front entrance = Front and the gate's back end = Back)

I had the spawn with the juggernauts earlier today. However, I didnt have an overlord in that spawn. I had to attack one of the savage lords, and it looked like the rest of the spawn arrived.

Several times now I've got a 5 Centus Savage Lords in the first reinforcement wave. They come from the same direction, have the same bounty and speed and I don't know any way of telling them apart. If you then happen to kill the trigger early, you might have to tank more incoming dps than you had prepared for.
-- StonE (2008-07-21 18:40:53)
I didn't link the blitz info to the common one posted in the Mission Reports. Imo, it's not consistent with respect to the other missions and I think the (The Blockade, Common info) article should be removed. There are plenty of other missions with identical blitzes, in which a separate common blitz can be created. A good idea? yes, in theory ... but why create unecessary extra links when you can do it with a few short lines in the original article. Keep it simple, keep it consistent.

I completed this mission the first time by doing a BM, warping to it at 100km, setting a new BM and warpin to it at 50km to be out of the web tower range.

The first spawn had 5-10km range, not 30-33km, so the warpin point might be rather random. Most importantly though, all ships of all spawns aggro while closing in. If you stay at the beacon (0km warp-in) it surely is no easy mission to begin with.
-- TomSchlong (2008-07-23 17:47:58)
Range to the initial group is not random if you do not apply the warp in trick (to warp at any distance).
-- SturmWolke (2008-07-23 18:07:06)
Overrated to use BS's here, Ishtar flies through the mission, with just T2 fittings.
-- PatteSatan (2008-12-25 18:22:36)
easy to perma tank all spawns in a kronos with single rep, no drone agro, you just let em lose and take the ocasional pot shot at the BS's
Blits works, but lot of bounties to waste
-- ScatManworlds (2009-04-29 08:33:37)
Interesting phenomenon when I ran this mission, after turning in the mission, all of the structures from the mission were still in space. Not sure if it's designed that way now, or if it was just a glitch, but 3 different fleet members confirmed the still-existence of the structures

Very hard mission.
If your in a turret ship (like me). U need to avoid the triggers and target and kill the Tracking Disrupting cruisers (Very hard to get down) fast! And the drones are very useful and should be used. But if u keep ur ditance to the rats and follow the tips. It is manageable. Even for a bum like me. Takes a long time though. About 2,5 hours for me including loot and salvage. (Lost a couple of wrecks to the time limit)

Bounty: 18,1 mill
Loot and salvage: 22 mill
Mission: 2,6 mill
Total: 427 mill --> 17,08 mill/h
-- MrT (2009-07-18 10:54:21)
Seriously, has anyone encountered a True Sansha at the end?
-- DanFraser (2009-08-14 13:34:39)
Seems the mission got changed to deadspace without gates; warping to distance to a bookmark works however so it's not too bad.
-- AremonMoonserpent (2010-01-03 03:53:49)
Confirmed, i just got a True sansha spawn at the mission, it was a True Centus Plague Lord, 1m bounty, but its loot was worth 50m. It comes from the bottom, 120km away from the centre.. And this was my first time doing the mission:D
-- NuVioNcro (2010-01-14 16:03:23)
4.8 mil True Sansha bs appeared, dropped TS large crystal, named large em smartbomb, TS Large Cap Booster, TS Crystal Tag, TS Adaptive Nano Plating, Slave Alpha implant
-- AdemaroImre (2010-03-12 23:58:26)
True Sansha BS did appear, but no lewt :(
-- WrathofHell (2011-01-09 21:52:49)
New waves love to aggro your fleetmates, so be careful. Lost a Noctis that way before I had a chance to warp it out
-- Soapy5 (2011-02-20 23:26:44)

A corpie and I got a True Sansha Slave Lord in the final wave about a week ago. Bounty was nearly 5m; dropped a Slave Delta implant (250-300m) and a True Sansha Cap relay (30m approx).

Sansha Blockade was already my favourite mission since it's 20m+ bounties for 35 minutes' work in a gankfit megabeam Abaddon, but even moreso now.
-- LaIvasse (2011-03-22 21:44:19)
20 mil bounties
2 mil mission rewards
9 mil loot

completing mission + loot & salvage took 40 minutes.
-- KhurI (2011-05-06 19:44:16)
If you try this in a turret-based ship, it will be VERY frustrating. I tried it several times but couldn't get past the crazy amount of TD from the cruisers in wave 2.
-- ZikatArzi (2011-09-06 20:21:39)
35 mins in T1 Beam Nightmare.

20,5mil bounties (no TS spawn)
8,5mil reward + LP (@1k isk/LP)

10 mins loot & salv in Noctis
35 armor plates, 2k m3 assorted loot ie. well worth it
-- PhoenixPhoenix (2012-01-03 10:42:36)
LOL This is a note to all of my fellow missle chuckers LVL 4 "Tracking Disruptor" has a lot of them - rather than messing up your tank to get the additional target lock strength to lock them - simply remember your old FRIEND THE F.O.F. Missle they work very well and preserve your tank :)
-- MorbertFlorbin (2012-01-15 23:01:40)
afther the revolution this mission is very hard, much Tracking Disruptor and NPC
rep better than a player with 90 mil SP. this is no good for ISK /hr :(
-- CesareM (2012-12-08 15:05:33)
if you fly turret based ships skip this mission. Ultra hard to kill anything because of ultra tracking disruptor. Only possible way would be a sniping apoc and snipe them from 200km range
-- GeldgeilGeld (2013-05-24 11:05:44)
Completed with dual box Tempest and Guardian Tracking Disrupts don't seem to be prevelant. 30 Mil in Salvage and Loot, 32 Mil in Bounties all in all not a bad mission.
-- ChenParn (2013-06-01 01:35:15)
Had a bit of trouble doing this one in my NApoc due to the TD. One of my alts is able to fly my NApoc and use most of the modules, save for guns. So, I hopped in my snipe fit Oracle, had the alt warp into the mission then followed at 100km and sniped away. The NApoc kept tank pretty well while I avoided being TD'd. Cheers!
-- GregLarmour (2013-07-02 22:08:30)
Completed, without much trouble, in an arty Sleipnir. A lot of AB work to flatten trajectories and yo-yo range on disruptor cruisers, but never felt like it had any real weaknesses. Battleships did little damage and went down smoothly, majority of frigates popped at long range, and ofc the initial web tower went down almost at once. Drones were used with care (3 med, 2 sm) and none were lost.
-- JackUnderhill (2013-07-07 02:00:24)
With a Micro Jump Drive, This mission is very easy. Just do a jump either up or down from warp in, and snipe. At over 75KM the damper ships seem to be totally ineffective. Since I fly a Raven (effective range 222km) it is very easy but take a while. About 2 hours to kill the whole mission and another hour to salvage it all. Salvage came to 23M ISK, doubling the reward for the mission.
-- TheoGradus (2013-07-25 19:44:44)
Got a True Centus Lord in last wave, bounty and loot was rubbish.
