Faction: EoM/Mercenaries
Mission type: Encounter
Space type: Normal space
Damage dealt: EoM - Kin/Therm | Mercenaries - All types (heavy Kin/Therm, EM, Exp)
Web/scramble: Frigates - EoM Saboteur, Mercenary Wingman
Extras: NA
Recommended damage dealing: EoM - Kin | Mercenaries - Therm
Recommended ships: CNR, Golem, Dominix

Note: Although it may appear that the use of acceleration gates lead to deadspace pockets, all pockets for this mission are actually in normal space.
MWD, fleet warp to member and individual bookmark for each location works without any restriction.

All acceleration gates for this mission are locked until you have eliminated all hostile ships.

Pocket Entrance (EoM)

Auto aggro at warp-in.

Single Group: (7-10km)

Each group can be attacked independently without drawing pocket aggro.

The EoM Behemoth in pocket 5 can be difficult to kill for laserboats because of it's good resistances to em/therm. It stays at around 50km range, just out of range from your drones. Fitting a drone augmenter link and bringing along vespa drones will make you kill him much faster.

Just a thing to consider, the fourth pockets NPC's hit harder and orbit you at a closer range of 7,000 meters. And like stated above, drones aggroes all of them. What was a piece of cake the first 3 pockets turned really bad at the fourth pocket.

+1 caddE
In fact, is because the Merc Commanders hit Em and/or Explo damages , and mission runners often use only Kin/Them resistances because they see EoM at the first gates. I recommend using an EANM and/or a Damage control to get better resistances on the fourth pocket.

I recommend 2 Kinetic, 1 Thermal and 1 Invuln for shield tankers.

Everything is very easy really, the only difference is that in pocket 4, you get aggroed first, unlike everywhere else

In the fourth pocket you will get aggro from 4 merc BS, don't, under any circumstances launch your drones. Just kill the mercs that aggro you, then pick one of the 2 remaining groups and kill it, when that is dead, take the next group and move on to the boss (or w/e you wanna call the last rat)

I used drones in Pocket 4 on Group 2 after the 4 Overlords of Group 1 were dead and no aggro from Group 3. I AB'd away from the gate as suggested above and did not use drones on Group 1. The pocket isn't hard; just kill the 4 Overlords first.

To give yourself some range on the first gate group, start your warp and then stop your ship and the warp. Then you can do a warp to within and select your distance. For some reason this works after stoping your warp, trying to warp within does not work the first time, only after you stop.
Also since these are not true deadspace pockets use the gate to get you there, set a bookmark and warp away. Then warp back at your range of choice to the bookmark.

Has anybody received this mission in the last months, or has it been removed?
-- MithorKarez (2009-12-22 06:24:45)
Pocket 3 has changed , no aggro on warp in now but Attacking Group 1 aggros entire pocket. Had to warp out after killing Group 1, but wingman was not engaged until he opened fire. Warped back in, no aggro. No aggro from Group 3 when attacking Group 2.

2 MithorKarez:
yep, got that mission yesterday. This mission description is almost ok. I had auto-aggro in Pocket 2 after the first warping there.

Just got offered this mission as well. Seems to be Gallente-only, and I've only gotten it from one specific agent (as far as I can remember).
-- ForteEXE (2010-10-29 17:06:49)
Nov. 1, 2010. I am Gallente and I have this mission offer in my journal. I haven't accepted yet because don't think I can handle it if it's a lvl 4 mission.

Jul 8, 2012 - received it @ Blood Raiders. I have been running missions for Bloods since 2009 but never received it before.

Bounty is around 15-20 mil
