Loot from freighters is pretty poor, lots of high vol. trade goods such as oxygen, rocket fuel and refugees. At least 30m in tags though from the other ships.

Completed Solo in Nighthawk.
Fit:
T2 Heavy Missile Launchers (x7) using CN Scourge.
Dread Guristas(DG) therm (x2), DG kin (x1), LSE II (x2).
T2 shield power relay (x4), t2 BCS (x1).
T1 Core Defence Field Purger (x2)
-Unlike most Gallente missions, these BS's do more thermal than kinetic damage.
-Warping out de-aggros most BS's. Warp out and back in to decrease initial dps.
-BS's aggro on drones. If you are flying scout drones, this works as a form of tank since they can't hit the drones very well.
-Frequent target dampening in this mission. Not a problem since there is usually a target within range even after you've been damped.

The freighters have a HUUUGE number of structure hp's (120,000 hp, compared to 28,000 hp of armor + shield combined). If you are going solo you can save a lot of time and ammo by swapping ships to a high DPS/low tank after all the BS's are destroyed.

not done this recently but would be interested to know if the freighters still drop the same loot. Since the changes of the items to PI materials the loot might be an nice bonus now. Amounts would also be appreciated.

Just ran this mission and the freighters dropped 3404 water and 2543 rocket fuel along with a few civillians and tourists.

The Federation Praktor Dionias neut and can MWD at around 800 m/s. Mission can be completed in a solo active Tengu if you burn directly away from the Dionias and kill them first, swapping to the elite frigates if they start getting too close.
