Faction: Rogue Pirates
Mission Type: Encounter
Space Type: Deadspace
Damage dealt: Kin/Therm/Ex(Mainly Therm)
Recommended damage dealing: Ex(Therm for Part 2)
Recommended ships: Caracal, Thrasher

Fair Play - To The Rescue (1 of 5)

Group 1: 20km (auto-aggro)

1x Frigate(Lone Pirate[Mercenary Rookie])

The smuggler's stargate drops about 50 scrap metal and some illegal drugs. Not worth destroying, as it has an obscene amount of HP.

Fair Play - More Bark (2 of 5)

1x Frigate (Mercenary Pirate[Mercenary Fighter])
1x Imperial Industrial (destroyed by the Pirate as you're flying towards it)

This mission contains a lot of very large 'roids, and can be quite lucrative for a good miner. You will find roughly 1.2 million m3 of ore in this belt.

Fair Play - Now Bite (3 of 5)

3x Frigates (Mercenary Miner Rookie[Mercenary Rookie])

There is a cargo container (jetcan) with the mission objective in it (10 units of Bandine) next to the pirate miners.
Pick it up to finish the mission.

This mission contains a lot of very large 'roids, and can be quite lucrative for a good miner.

Fair Play - Slight Advantage (4 of 5)

1x Frigate(Pirate Scout[Rogue Pirate Grunt])

Structures drop no loot.

Fair Play - Turnabout (5 of 5)

8x Frigate(Mercenary Pirates[Mercenary Rookie]) (you only get to kill 3 of them yourself)

1x Frigate (DED Soldier 3rd Class)
2x Frigates (DED Soldier 2nd Class)
2x Cruisers (DED Officer 2nd Class)
5x Cruisers (DED Officer 1st Class)
3x Battleship(DED Army Colonel)

The 2 sides shoot at each other and there's all sorts of wrecks left at the end. You only get to kill 3 frigates.
I'm not sure if you can shoot the DED ships. They are about 60km away when you warp in. The DED ships warp out as soon as all the pirates are dead. Provided that you have a range of 50-70km, you can take them out. They do not agro, however, and you can only shoot at them until the pirates are dead.

All Mercenary ships will be destroyed, only a few of the DED ships ones will be. They contain a lot of loot

Part 2 has a MASSIVE cache of Veld., C.Veld, R.Plagio, Pyro., and G.Omber. Great for farming. =)

about part 2/5 - more bark
75x veldspar roids, average 45k units each
35x rich plagio roids, av. 25k units each
40x pyroxers roids, av. 40k units each - good in minmatar space
no other ore anymore.
but: bookmarking is not possible in this mission. roids are about
40km away from warp-in.

Part 2: Total Mining Yields
Rich Plagioclase 1,054,259
Pyroxeres 1,787,506
Concentrated Veldspar 949,014
Veldpsar 2,329,733
Estimated mineral value at the time was roughly 120mil.

Without a doubt, this mission has the best roid belt I've ever seen. I normally run lvl 4's, but periodically I'll try to get this one just so I can mine a decent belt in peace without can flippers to annoy me. I jet-can mined this up with my two toons, both in T2 equiped hulks, in just over 7 hours, with periodic orca runs to clean things up before the cans expired.

part 2:

Some annoying pirates when mining. Somewhat stronger then the original pirate needed for the mission. Also they come in pairs and multiple times. (Personally about four times, two pirates each time)

no drops from any buildings

It would appear that the concord are able to be attacked, however you will need a well well-fitted cruiser that can tank damage.

If you do attack the concord ships, what drops from them? Anyone know?
