I accepted this reluctantly as I try to avoid faction missions, but it appeared blitzable, and it was in high-sec, so I bit the bullet and ran it. It wasn't too bad, but the dps was too high for my passive rattler, though not to a great degree. I popped all the frigates in the initial group to avoid possible scram and started on the Maint Array with T2 Wardens. The shields/armor melted, and I quickly got the first two spawns.
Much to my surprise the Array Guards are surprisingly tough for frigates. They are very fast, deal noteworthy dps and took surprisingly long to kill with T2 Hobgoblins. Here's the real kicker: **2.4% standings penalties for those ships!** Avoid killing if you care.
Upon realizing the dps was too great, I docked and podded to the site. I established BM 72km (T2 warden optimal) on both sides of the Array (e.g, "near" and "far" - "far" was the farthest from the bulk of ships). They were sufficiently far apart that I could warp between them.
So, I get back in the rattler, warped to "far", dropped the wardens and triggered the final spawn. I waited until shields hit 30% and warped to "near". Unfortunately, I didn't manage aggro, and one of the wardens got popped, but a quick recall and redeploy pulled aggro to the rattler. A few more volleys from the wardens, and the Array popped.
npc.elfarto.com reports the Array at 6k/5k/70k hp for shield/armor/structure. Based on the rate at which it popped under fire from the T2 wardens, I would have to say it's pretty close.
Confirm mission flagged complete once Array was popped.
Array dropped scraps and trade goods.
