The DPS in the mission is a bit incorrect. I've ran in a Raven with 2xEM and 2xTH Hardeners and haven't kicked off my shield booster once. Also, Pockets 1 2 and 3 are located after the 2nd gate. Mission has 3 areas. 1 - warp in, 2 - gate, 3 - gate. In my opinion, the whole mission totalled arround 300 DPS.

Theres not really any reason to have DPS in the guide, still somebody adds it :/

Keep it as simple as possible, only the most necessary info should be added.

Also, I don't consider Warp-In as a Pocket, Pocket is after a gate imo, but people might have slight different opinions on this.

+1 @MariaEpiconthe. It's more accurate with "warp-in / Pocket 1 / etc". A pocket is between two gates.

This mission is very easy to do , even an harbinger with beams and t2 tank can to it.

Note on blitzing: For me all gates were unlocked. I killed only a few ships (scramblers), approached the gates directly and killed 2 groups in the last pocket (the aggroing one and the BS-group). Mission was finished after the last BS-group ship was killed.

Hey McRuder, are you pulling these numbers out of the blue? You've commented bonus room for Angel Extravaganza being 2,296.08hp/s.... Interesting how that one is impossible to sit and tank and this one you can finish without kicking off a shield booster on a Raven. Stop scarying people with numbers. Thought it was mentioned in first 3 comments.

I personally think DPS might be a good thing to have. Maybe not in the mission guide but in the comment field. And if anything, it should be CORRECT numbers!

Knowing the DPS of different groups beforehand lets you know if you would need that extra hardener or repper/booster. (Or if you should attempt the mission at all solo)

There is no reliable way to measure DPS from mission empirical data. Random hits when you maneuver and virtually no explanation or transparency on how someone measures it leads to unreliable data. Putting them in comments will only serve to confound the missioning noobs.

Going through the NPC ships database data to come up with an estimate is probably the best option, but that's a tedious job and not all data are up to date. It will also be a pain in the ass to update as CCP changes things. So back to the point, keep it simple and keep it consistent. The mission article will usually state if the DPS is heavier than normal and sometimes gives you a warning. This, imo is more than enough for you to pay attention to your tank.

I recently did this mission for Caldari Navy. The blitz of eliminating group 3 did give a mission complete on the mission briefing but the agent would not allow a turn in. I had to go back and clear the ships that remained neutral (group 2).

I just had this mission post-patch (Quantum Rise), and it changed, in a very big way : the groups of 'rats are still the same, but the acceleration gates inside the pockets are now with 2500 meters of the warp-in point ...

Rejoice ! For the days of slowly moving over 45+ kms to the next warp gate are over !

Confirming KeryNysell's note... there is no more traveling, I traveled max 7km on one of the gates.
And regarding the DPS discussion in here....
These rats are weak, I never fired my shieldbooster ( in my golem) and I never took more than 10-15% dmg to my shields aggroed all ships in all pockets at same time.
Also warpgates are locked until all ships are destroyed. Atleast between pocket 1-2

pocket 2 and 3 do have fleet aggro (not sure about pocket 1)

any fleet member after the first to warp in who attacks group 1 in pocket 2 will get aggro of group 2. same goes for attacking group 3 in pocket 3 (aggro group 2). just like with the drones

Pocket one gave me NO auto aggro. Waited until the cows came home; none showed up. So I attacked group 2 (Control Tower) and could safely deploy drones; group 1 did not attack.

Drone aggro of other groups seems extremely variable in respect to above comments; did not have problems as long as I kept them on close frigates. Everything dies in this mission using very low dps. Ideal early battlecruiser lvl IV, imho--but don't judge the rest by this: Massive Attack not so massive.

This is cleary one of the easiest but also most rewarding L4 missions.
Damage taken is hilariously low even with bad tank. Get some EM drones and grin as they do all the work for you. Focus your own fire on the rare battleships and those cruisers.
Aggroing 2 groups is no problem at all even with beginner SP. It is however prefarable to have some T2 drones to deal with all those frig-size ships.

While missile boats are pretty much immune to their EWF other weapon system might loose efficiency due to target disruption. Still, very easy mission even so.

I got 16 mio ISK in 3/4 of an hour from this mission (through loot, salvage and bounty), veteran players will finish it much faster... really great ISK/time ratio!

Per guide. Quick and effortless in tech2 fitted Drake, even with crippling lag.

I used EM missiles. Even with Drake's kinetic bonus, thunderbolts were doing about 6x more damage than scourges.

Rewards seemed pretty weak actually. Under 4.5 mil bounty and ~2mil for loot & salvage.

Group 2 in pocket 2 seems to have a proximity aggro of 60km. No aggro from attacking group 1.

Group 2 in pocket 3 also appears to aggro at about 65 km. Again, the other groups can be engaged without aggroing group 2.

Done in a T2 fit Zealot, MAR, 2 EM, 2 Therm, AB. Only pulsed my repper occasionally when I had whole groups aggroed at BS optimal and no transversal.

easily completed in t2 fitted drake (t1 mjolnir missles. i brought t2's just in case, but didn't need them). something started shooting my drones in pocket 3 but i pulled them back and then relaunched them and it stopped. 4.3m in bounties 6.3m in loot and salvage.
