Blitz:
Use a frigate with AfterBurner ( => 1km/s ) and hurry to get to the acceleration gate. After You activated the gate and are in Pocket 2 wait some seconds until the journal is blinking. This indicates that the mission goal is accomplished and You can move to the agent.

Did not pay much attention to first group, but it was approx the same, if not the same (4 Loyal ones was definitely true).
However, Pocket 2 was different. Also mission completes just after you warp in and there were a LOT of Veldspar asteroids. Here are the spawns I got for second pocket, Damage was more than the first.

First wave:
3x Centii Loyal Savage (frigs)
4x Centum Loyal Hell hound (cruisers?) 281,250 isk bounty.

Second Wave:
3x Centii Loyal Slavehunter (frigs)
4x Centum Loyal Fiend (cruisers?) 270,000 isk bounty.

Pocket 2 have 87 veldspar roids, scanned from the entry point (15km max range).
The roids vary from 5k to 80k of size.
Nice profit for miners.

This time in Pocket 2 there were 7 Centum loyal hellhounds (cruisers?) split across the 2 spawns. 1st pocket was also different. So it looks like the number of frigs vs cruisers are the same, but there are different types of ships that can spawn.
Also the number of Loyal cruisers (or BC's... whatever they are) in the first pocket is always the same, ie. 4.

I faced a lot of Tracking Disruption in both packets, keep in mind if killing spawns.

Part 1 can be blitzed with fast frig (ab fitted executioner did it @ 1360m/s) with not problems. 2 cruisers, 1 frig spawned when I hit the gate (was 24km away at start) and agro'd, but I was warping into second pocket

Huge money incomes for L2 if you manage to kill all rats.
-- KiraYamato (2011-05-25 05:27:29)
with a strong tank and reasonable speed (160m/sec is enough), you can lure {"kite"} all the opponents in the first pocket away from the gate; just keep moving outward. Then you warp out and return via the acceleration gate. You'll be 25km from the gate which completes the mission while the rats are 100km or more away -- easy.

Thus a heavy tank Maller, Moa, Thorax, or Rupture fitted with light weapons (to kill the faster destroyers as they close on you) is enough ship for this. AB not required.
